Our Policy

  1. Registration & Library Rules
    • Interested in becoming an ECCC Library member? Simply register at the reception desk or scan the ECCC Library QR code for self-registration. Once completed, you’ll receive your personal QR ID — just scan it at the front gate, on the first floor when you walk in!
    • All members must scan their membership QR code at the Front Desk prior to entering the library.
    • Food, beverages, sweets, and chewing gum are strictly prohibited inside the library premises. Water is permitted. Smoking is prohibited at all times.
    • Library materials must not be highlighted, written on, or marked in any manner, including with pencil as well.
    • Users shall maintain a quiet environment during study and research.
    • Mobile phones must be switched to silent or vibrate mode. Making or receiving calls within the library is not permitted.
    • Computer facilities are provided strictly for academic and research purposes.
    • After use, books must be placed on the designated cart for reshelving by library staff.
    • The library assumes no responsibility for personal belongings that are lost, misplaced, or left unattended.
  2. Book Loans
    • Book Loans: it is now not available.
  3. Photocopying Policy
    • Photocopying services are available upon request through library staff. The service is limited around 10 pages per user per day.
    • In accordance with copyright and preservation guidelines, no more than one-quarter of a book (400 pages), or one chapter per week, may be photocopied.
    • Rare, fragile, or damaged materials are excluded from this service.
    • There is no charge for photocopying within the stated limits.
  4. Scan and Deliver Service
    • The Scan and Deliver Service provides electronic copies of selected library materials upon request. Scanned documents can be delivered to users via email or Telegram, subject to copyright and library regulations.
    • All Scan & Deliver requests must comply with applicable copyright legislation.
    • Limits: One article from a journal issue or one chapter from a book; entire thin books or short articles may be provided, subject to condition; rare and fragile materials are excluded.
    • A limit of two requests per individual per week. Requests exceeding these limits will be declined.
    • To use this service, log in to the online catalogue (registration is free). Once your account is created, use the "Ask a Librarian" link to email us. Please include your name and your affiliation with the ECCC Library.
    • Requests are normally fulfilled within five (5) working days, including weekends and holidays (Excluding Khmer New Year and Pchum Ben Day). Completed requests delivered via email; urgent cases via Telegram.
  5. Interlibrary Loan Service
    • In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the ECCC Library and the CKS Library, registered ECCC Library members may apply for interlibrary loan services from the CKS Library.
    • Members are advised to contact the Librarian for further information and assistance.
